The First match of the ICC Men’s Cricket World Cup 2023 is set to be a blockbuster, with defending champions England taking on runners-up New Zealand at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on October 5th. The match will be played at 4:30am EST, 8:30am GMT, and 2pm Local.

India will become the sole host of the upcoming ICC World Cup 2023, having previously co-hosted the tournament with Sri Lanka, Pakistan, and Bangladesh in 1987, 1996, and 2011. This will be the first time that India will host the entire tournament on its own.

India’s first match of the tournament will be against defending champions Australia on October 8th in Chennai. They will then face Afghanistan, Pakistan, Bangladesh, New Zealand, England, Qualifier 2, South Africa, and Qualifier 1. The final of the tournament will be held on November 19th at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
