However, there are a few questions that need to be answered before the team can start thinking about lifting the trophy again. Firstly, who will open the batting? As in 2019, it was the absence of Ambati Rayudu from the Indian team, and as in 2021, it was the underperformance of the batters for the Indian team.

The selectors will have to choose between Rishabh Pant and Dinesh Karthik  as the wicket-keeper batsman. Both Pant and DK have been in good form for their respective domestic teams.

The second question is who will open the batting with Rohit Sharma? KL Rahul has been struggling for form lately and his place in the team is not guaranteed.

Which one is in the 11 at the ICC T20 World Cup 2022 Dinesh Karthik or Rishabh Pant Or both of them

Which one is in the 11 at the ICC T20 World Cup 2022: Dinesh Karthik or Rishabh Pant? Or both of them?

At the moment, there are a few contenders for the position of wicket-keeper batsman. Dinesh Karthik and Rishabh Pant are two of the candidates that are considered to be among the favorites. Each player has extensive experience and is in good shape. It’s still up to the selectors to decide who gets the nod.

The other question that needs to be answered is who will open the batting for India in this match? Rohit Sharma, Shikhar Dhawan, and KL Rahul are the current options available to the team. There is no doubt that all three players have experience and have done well in the past.

Pant is a player who excels in big matches. Additionally, with Jadeja out, the team does not have a left-handed pitcher in the top 5. Pant also has a chance, ideally. As of late, the team is substituting Axar Patel for Jadeja and the rest of the combination remains the same.

The Death Bowler: Bhuvneshwar Kumar, is he the real deal?

Bhuvneshwar Kumar is often referred to as the death bowler, due to his ability to bowl at the death. He has been a key member of the Indian cricket team for many years, and is one of the most experienced players in the squad. However, there are some question marks over his form heading into the ICC T20 World Cup 2022.

Kumar has been struggling with injuries in recent years, and this has taken its toll on his bowling. His pace has dropped slightly, and he is no longer able to consistently bowl yorkers at the death. This was evident in India’s most recent T20 series against England, where Kumar was expensive and went wicketless in two out of three matches. So, Rohit needs to manage his bowlers such that Bhuvi gets little to no overs in the final 5

With the World Cup just around the corner, Indian fans will be hoping that Kumar can rediscover his best form.

Rohit, Rahul, Kohli Who will Open at the ICC T20 World Cup 2022?

There are a few options for the Indian team but Rohit Sharma and Rahul Kohli seem to be the frontrunners. Both Sharma and Kohli are experienced batsmen and have performed well in T20 cricket. However, there is a case to be made for Virat Kohli opening the batting as well.

Kohli is one of the best batsmen in the world and has a lot of experience opening the batting in limited-overs cricket. He also has a good record against spin bowling, which could come in handy in Indian conditions.
