RCB invited CSK to bat first, but it didn’t go well for them as CSK’s batters went on an absolute rampage, thrashing RCB’s bowlers all around the park. Ruturaj Gaikwad fell early, but Devon Conway and Ajinkya Rahane provided a solid foundation for the team. Shivam Dubey capitalized on the momentum and smashed his first fifty in the tournament, helping CSK reach 170 in the 16th over.

However, Faf Du Plessis and Glenn Maxwell didn’t take long to regain the lost momentum, unleashing a flurry of boundaries and sixes against the Chennai Super Kings bowlers. The duo stitched a 50-run partnership within the powerplay, keeping RCB’s hopes alive in the high-scoring encounter.
