ODI World Cup 2023: Ticket prices for matches in Eden Garden announced

For this marquee match, ticket prices will start at a minimum of Rs 900 for the upper tiers. D and H block tickets will be available at Rs 1500, C and K block tickets at Rs 2500, while B and L block tickets, offering the most sought-after seats, will be priced at Rs 3000.

The CAB officials have justified the increased costs, citing the necessity to cover the expenses associated with organizing a World Cup and ensuring a top-notch experience for spectators. While ticket prices have been finalized, there are still pending decisions regarding the formation of various committees to oversee the World Cup. The invitation to Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina to attend the tournament is currently under discussion, as is the potential involvement of former BCCI chief Sourav Ganguly in the World Cup committee.

For the opening game between Netherlands and Bangladesh, tickets will start from INR 650, providing an accessible entry point for fans. As for the fourth game featuring England and Pakistan, as well as the second game between Pakistan and Bangladesh, ticket prices will range from INR 800 to INR 2200, accommodating different budgets and preferences.

Cricket enthusiasts eagerly awaiting the clash between India and South Africa, as well as the crucial second semi-final, can acquire tickets in the price range of INR 900 to 3000.
