Pakistan is one of the semi-finalists for the T20 World Cup 2022, according to Alex Hales
There is a possibility that Pakistan, England, India, and Australia will be the semi-finalists of the upcoming T20 World Cup 2022 scheduled to begin on October 16 in Australia, according to England’s opening batter Alex Hales.
In a rapid-fire session with the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) digital team, Alex Hales, who has returned to the national team in style after nearly three years, made the following statements about his role in the national team.
Three of his four predicted teams, Australia, Pakistan, and England, had also qualified for the semi-final stage of the T20 World 2021, where Australia defeated Pakistan, and New Zealand defeated England, which was another important aspect of his prediction.
The Men in Blue, however, have a solid recent record, being able to win six out of seven bilateral series in the past three years, despite the fact that the team failed to qualify for the semi-final stage of both the T20 World Cup last year and Asia Cup in 2022.
There hasn’t been much success for England in recent times, having lost three consecutive series against the West Indies, India, and South Africa, respectively.
The defending champions of the mega event will be Australia, on the other hand, a team that has been on an excellent run of form over the last few years. They began the three-match T20I series against India with a run chase of over 200 runs.
The Pakistan team has also qualified for the semi-finals of the T20 World Cup 2021 in the United Arab Emirates, as well as the final of the Asia Cup 2022 in Dubai.
