Tom Latham World Cup Stats 2023 – Thomas William Maxwell Latham, born on 2 April 1992, is an accomplished cricketer from New Zealand who currently serves as the captain of the New Zealand cricket team in One Day Internationals (ODIs). Latham excels as a batsman and also takes on the role of a wicketkeeper. He made his ODI debut on 3 February 2012, during the One-Day International series against Zimbabwe.

In his debut match, batting at number five, Latham scored 24 runs. Notably, during the second ODI of the series, he achieved his maiden ODI century, remaining unbeaten with a remarkable 110 runs, while partnering with Martin Guptill for an unbeaten 236-run partnership. This outstanding performance led New Zealand to win the match by 10 wickets, successfully leveling the series.

In December 2017, Latham stepped up as the acting ODI captain against West Indies, as Kane Williamson and Tim Southee were rested. Furthermore, he was included in New Zealand’s squad for the 2019 Cricket World Cup in April 2019. During the semi-final match against India in July 2019, Latham had the honor of participating in his 150th international match for the New Zealand cricket team.
