Are you ready for the biggest t20 league on planet earth? IPL 2022 is about to kick off in a few weeks. The IPL 2022 auction held on 12-13 February 2022. The Indian Premier League (IPL) 2022 Player Auction list is out with a total of 590 cricketers set to go under the hammer during the two-day mega auction which will take place in Bengaluru on February 12 and 13, 2022.

IPL 2022 Auction Full Final Date
The full final date for IPL 2022 Bidding “nilami” is 12-13 February 2022 Mumbai Indians is the best team with a sum of 5 IPL titles to their name.
Behind them are Chennai Super Kings with 3 titles. The remainder of the groups has additionally won an absolute minimum of 1 title aside from Royal Challengers Bangalore, Delhi Capitals, and Kings XI Punjab.
It is expected that the IPL 2022 will feature two new teams at Lucknow and Ahmadabad as the two new franchises who are taking part in the next edition, making it ten teams in total. The result of the decision is that they will add more matches to the tournament, which will entail all of the teams playing each other twice in a round-robin format at the beginning of the league.

IPL 2022 retained players were supposed to be announced by the deadline of November 30, 2021. It is expected that both franchises will choose their three target players from December 1 to December 25 before the auction begins on December 26.

Every Team Preparation for IPL Mega Auction 2022
Pre-auction is one of the stages of the auction process. During this stage, all team management as well as team owners get together for an intelligence session. 4-5 meetings each week are held where the management team evaluates their team and comes up with a broad framework regarding which class of players to target as the next auction approaches. This may also include participation from the captain of the team.
There has been an increase in the limit on the teams’ purse. The BCCI has raised the limit on every team’s purse from Rs 85 crore to Rs 90 crore. Due to the introduction of two new teams in the future auctions of the BCCI, a landmark of Rs 100 crore could be reached
IPL 2022 Mega Auction
Among the main reasons why this hype is happening is the 2022 mega auction for the IPL. In the days leading up to the IPL mega auction in 2022, teams could retain only four players. As a result, other teams can now place bids for the players who are no longer on the roster of the franchise.
New Teams in IPL 2022 Mega Auction – Team
IPL 2022 promoter BCCI has confirmed the addition of two new teams for the upcoming tournament. There will now be a total of 10 teams participating in the IPL 2022 tournament as a result of this move.
It has been confirmed to Cricbuzz by one of the office-bearers of the BCCI that the move is being taken to correct the overall pan-Indian balance of the tournament.
How many players can each team have in the IPL 2022 Mega Auction?
IPL teams always have a large squad size, which they can see in the organization and in the management of the teams. There has been a limit of 25 players that can be owned or purchased by a franchise. 18 players is the minimum number that can be owned. Thus, the teams will now be looking to bid for the best players from the mega auction that will take place during the IPL 2022 season.

When Will IPL 2022 Mega Auction Take Place?
At the moment, there are no such confirmed details from the BCCI but it is likely that the 2022 Mega Auction will take place sometime between December 2021 and January 2022. It is expected that the auction will take place between 25th December 2021 and 20th January 2022.
IPL 2022 Window and Schedule Change:
Because the two new franchises will be added to the IPL 2022 schedule window, it means that the entire IPL period will be extended. A total of 74 different games are scheduled and it is not possible to conduct all of them in April-May because there are so many. A window of more than two months has been set aside by the board for scheduling the IPL between the months of April and June.
