The Afghanistan T20 World Cup 2024 schedule is now available online. Afghanistan will face Uganda in the opening game of the ICC T20 World Cup 2024 on June 3. The ICC T20 World Cup 2024 is scheduled to start on June 1 in the USA and the West Indies. It will be the first T20 World Cup hosted by both countries. There are a number of countries taking part in this World Cup, including Afghanistan. There will be 20 teams participating in this event, which is scheduled to take place in the USA & West Indies from June 2 to June 29, 2024. As part of the preparations for the event, Afghanistan has announced its squad. Afghanistan’s matches will be hosted by the USA and the West Indies.
There are five teams in Group C: New Zealand, the Caribbean, Afghanistan, Uganda, and Papua New Guinea. The two best teams from each group will advance to the Super 8, and the four top teams will advance to the semifinals.

Afghanistan will play their first match on June 3 against Uganda in Guyana, and then they will play against New Zealand on the same ground four days later. After that, they will rest for six days and then play against Papua New Guinea on June 13 at the Brian Lara Stadium in Tarouba. The last match of Afghanistan’s group stage will be on June 17 against the co-hosts West Indies at the Daren Sammy Cricket Stadium. The match will start at 7:30 PM IST.

Neither the 2007 ICC T20 World Cup nor the 2009 ICC T20 World Cup saw Afghanistan participate in the competition. They made their first appearance during the 2010 edition hosted by the West Indies, when they played against Jamaica.
The team has become one of the regular contenders for the tournament ever since they became a regular contender. As of today, Afghanistan has won seven matches out of the 22 that have been played in the ICC T20 World Cup.
