Senior Women’s T20 Trophy Super League: Full Qualifiers List, Groups and Schedule

The league stage of the Senior Women’s T20 Trophy 2026-27 is complete, and the eight-team Super League lineup is confirmed. Jemimah Rodrigues produced the defining innings of the final round, smashing a 47-ball hundred as Mumbai beat Puducherry by 83 runs to top Elite Group D on net run rate and book their place in Ahmedabad, where the Super League runs from November 14 to 18 and the final is scheduled for November 20.

Mumbai and Delhi both finished the league stage with 20 points in Group D, but Mumbai’s superior net run rate put them on top after the thumping final-day win. The eight Super League teams — Karnataka, Baroda, Vidarbha, Delhi, Maharashtra, Andhra, Railways and Mumbai — will now fight for the two final spots, with defending champions Maharashtra and record 11-time winners Railways both in the mix.

Senior Women’s T20 Trophy Super League teams: full qualifiers list

The top two teams from each of the four Elite groups advanced to the Super League. The eight qualifiers have been split into two groups of four, with each team playing three Super League matches in Ahmedabad.

Super League Group A Super League Group B
Karnataka Maharashtra (defending champions)
Baroda Andhra
Vidarbha Railways (11 titles)
Delhi Mumbai

Group A brings together Karnataka, Baroda, Vidarbha and Delhi, while Group B looks the stronger pool on paper: defending champions Maharashtra, record 11-time winners Railways, Andhra and an in-form Mumbai side led by a returning Jemimah Rodrigues. The two group winners will meet in the final at Ground B of the Narendra Modi Stadium on November 20.

Jemimah Rodrigues 47-ball hundred powers Mumbai to the top of Group D

Jemimah Rodrigues was at her attacking best against Puducherry in Pune on November 6. She smashed 107 off just 47 balls, hitting 16 fours and two sixes, to power Mumbai to 213 for 2 after they batted first. Humairaa Kaazi gave her solid support with 82 off 57 balls, including 13 fours, and Puducherry were never in the hunt, finishing 83 runs short.

The margin of victory proved important, because the group was decided on net run rate. Mumbai and Delhi both finished the league stage with 20 points, but Mumbai’s superior net run rate put them on top. Delhi, who beat Jharkhand by six wickets in their final league game, have also made it to the next round.

The hundred capped a superb comeback week for Jemimah, who returned from a hamstring injury at the start of the tournament. In her comeback game on November 2, she made an unbeaten 26 off 19 balls as Mumbai beat Uttar Pradesh by 29 runs in a nine-overs-a-side contest. Two days later, she struck 58 off 41 balls as Mumbai beat Delhi by seven wickets, sharing a 124-run second-wicket stand with Sanika Chalke, who anchored the 152-run chase with an unbeaten 85 off 57 balls. Chalke was picked up by Mumbai Indians ahead of the upcoming Women’s Premier League season, and her form alongside Jemimah makes Mumbai’s top order one of the most dangerous in the Super League.

How the four Elite groups finished in the Senior Women’s T20 Trophy

Elite Group A: Karnataka and defending champions Maharashtra progressed. Karnataka led the group with 20 points heading into the final round, while Maharashtra, Bengal and Goa were level on 16 points before the last matches, making the final day a straight shootout for the second Super League spot.

Elite Group B: Baroda and Andhra took the two Super League places from a group that also featured Madhya Pradesh, Saurashtra, Rajasthan, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh and Odisha.

Elite Group C: Railways and Vidarbha advanced. Railways, the record 11-time champions, remain the most successful team in the tournament’s history, and their return to the Super League sets up a heavyweight Group B clash with defending champions Maharashtra.

Elite Group D: Mumbai topped the group on net run rate ahead of Delhi after both sides finished on 20 points. Jharkhand, Uttarakhand, Hyderabad and Uttar Pradesh missed out despite a competitive group in which three teams were locked on 16 points with a round still to play.

The league stage featured 37 teams — 31 Elite and six Plate — split across five groups, with 134 matches in total, making it one of the biggest women’s domestic competitions in the world. Full details of the format, groups and opening fixtures are in our Senior Women’s T20 Trophy preview.

Bihar lift the Plate title after beating Mizoram in the final

While the Elite groups fought for Super League places, the Plate division produced its own champion. Bihar clinched the Senior Women’s T20 Trophy Plate Championship 2026-27 after defeating Mizoram by 10 runs in the final at the Nagaland Cricket Stadium in Sovima on November 4.

Batting first after winning the toss, Bihar posted 116 for 7 in their allotted 20 overs. In reply, Mizoram managed 106 for 9 in 20 overs, falling 10 runs short as Bihar successfully defended their total to lift the trophy. Bihar’s Aarya Seth was adjudged Player of the Match in the final for her all-round performance, while Debasmita Dutta of Meghalaya received the Player of the Series award.

November 20 Final — Group A winners vs Group B winners, Ground B, Narendra Modi Stadium

Early Super League favourites and players to watch

Mumbai look the form side heading into Ahmedabad. Jemimah Rodrigues has scored 26 not out, 58 and 107 in her three innings since returning from injury, and her 124-run stand with Sanika Chalke against Delhi showed Mumbai can chase down big totals as well as post them. Their opening Super League fixture against Railways on November 14 is the pick of the first round.

Railways remain the pedigree pick: 11 titles in the tournament’s history and a squad built for knockout cricket. Defending champions Maharashtra, meanwhile, know how to win this competition — the crown has changed hands in each of the last three seasons, with Mumbai winning in 2023-24 and defending it in 2024-25 before Maharashtra took the title last season. In Group A, Karnataka and Delhi both arrive with momentum, and Delhi will fancy their chances after pushing Mumbai all the way in the Group D race.

Our early pick for the final: Mumbai to top Group B on the back of Jemimah’s form, with Karnataka to edge Group A. If both hold their nerve, the November 20 final could be a repeat of the heavyweight clash the league stage never quite delivered.
