TATA IPL 2023: Top 5 Youngest Player in IPL of All Time

List of Youngest Players in IPL: Many young people have confirmed that the IPL has been a very important platform for them, where they were able to showcase their skills and show that they are ready for the world of cricket.

Youngest Player in IPL of All Time

1.Akash Singh

Born in Bharatpur, in the state of Rajasthan, the youngster from Bharatpur is yet to make his IPL debut. Although he did produce a superb performance for the Indian U-19 cricket team, the speedster still impressed everyone.

In the U-19 World Cup, he took 7 wickets for Rajasthan Royals for his base price of INR 20 lakhs. He was purchased by them for his base price of INR 20 lakhs. I believe that his partnership-breaking performances were an important factor in India reaching the final.

2.Youngest player in IPL -Prayas Ray Barman

In the 2019 IPL season, Prayas Ray Barman, who plays for Royal Challengers Bangalore, made history as the youngest player in IPL history to play his first match as a professional. It is worth noting that he made his RCB debut when he was 16 years and 152 days old.

I just remembered how good of a bowling performance he had when he faced SRH. During the bowling session that he had, the team that he had had a costly experience. During his four overs, Prayas was dismissed for 56 runs. Having been released by the team at the end of the season, he is still unsold at recent auctions.

3.Abdul Samad

With a striking rate of 170 and more in the upcoming IPL 2020, the hard-hitting youngster has already proven himself on a few occasions. Even though he has failed to score anything that can be considered highly impactful, his cameos were extremely instrumental in propelling the Orange Army to the play-offs in the previous season.

Despite that, things don’t seem to be going as well in the ongoing Indian Premier League as he has only managed to play four matches so far and that has seen him score only 36 runs. There is a possibility that the way things go for the aspiring all-rounder may change with the tournament moving to the UAE.

4.Sarfaraz Khan:

The India cricket team considers Sarfaraz Khan to be one of the future players in the national squad due to his excellent talent and amazing performance in domestic cricket. Aside from that, he is the fourth-youngest player to play in the history of the Indian Premier League. In the year of 2015, at the age of 17 years and 177 days, this young cricketer made his IPL debut for the team RCB.

It was the most impressive knock of Sarfaraz Khan’s career, scoring 46 runs from just 27 balls, breaking the record of Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers. After the 2017 IPL season, he was sold to KXIP and spent the remainder of the season with them. Both the fans and selectors are eagerly awaiting the arrival of this 22-year-old, magnificent cricketer who can do wonders for the team during this current season.

5.Mujeeb Ur Rahman – Youngest Player in IPL

There were several players at the 2018 auction who received the highest bids, Mujeeb ur Rahman being one of them. In addition to being the youngest cricketer in history to take five wickets in an ODI, he also made history as having become the first player in the twenty-first century to ever play professionally. As part of a deal with KXIP, Mujeeb was purchased and had a fantastic first season, taking 14 wickets in 11 matches.

His maiden IPL match came only 11 days after his 17th birthday, which made it rather rare for him to play it right away. KXIP has decided to be loyal to this fantastic player and keep him in their team for the 2021 season. Let us hope that he performs well throughout the season. He is one of the youngest players to have played in the Indian Premier League.
