Eoin Morgan, the former England captain, hit 17 sixes and four boundaries against Afghanistan in the 2019 World Cup in Manchester, breaking the record for most sixes in an ODI innings.
He scored 148 runs off 71 balls, at a strike rate of 208.45. England went on to win the match by 150 runs, after Afghanistan were bowled out for 247/8.
