To prepare for these important matches, Pakistan will start their training camp on August 11 at the Rawalpindi Cricket Stadium. The camp will be led by head coach Jason Gillespie and assistant coach Azhar Mahmood, who will work closely with the team to ensure they are in top shape. Meanwhile, the Bangladesh cricket team is expected to arrive in Islamabad early on August 17, with their first training session planned for the same afternoon.

As the teams get ready, the match officials for the series have been announced. Former Sri Lankan cricketer Ranjan Madugalle will serve as the match referee. The umpires for the series include two from England, one from South Africa, and two from Pakistan, bringing a wealth of experience to the field.

In the Rawalpindi Test, England’s Richard Kettleborough and South Africa’s Adrian Holdstock will be the on-field umpires, while England’s Michael Gough will serve as the third umpire. Pakistan’s Rashid Riaz will be the fourth umpire.

For the second Test in Karachi, Michael Gough and Adrian Holdstock will take over the on-field duties, with Richard Kettleborough moving to the third umpire role. Pakistan’s Asif Yaqoob will be the fourth umpire.

Looking at the World Test Championship standings, Pakistan is currently in fifth place, while Bangladesh is eighth. Pakistan started strong with two wins against Sri Lanka but struggled in their next two matches against Australia. Bangladesh, on the other hand, has only managed one win against New Zealand, followed by several losses, including two against Sri Lanka and a tough challenge against Pakistan.
