The Breakthrough 2024 Season

He is particularly strong hitting down the ground and over midwicket, and he times the ball sweetly rather than relying on brute force. His composure under pressure has been evident from his first full season.

With the ball, he bowls right-arm medium pace in the 130s kph range. He is not express, but he hits good areas and has a clever slower ball, which brought him 8 wickets in the 2026 season.

His main area for improvement is bowling consistency. An economy rate above 10 in the IPL shows he can be expensive, and he needs to develop more variations to become a reliable fourth or fifth bowling option.
