#1: 37 Runs – Prasanth Parameswaran in 2011

Kochi Tuskers Kerala pacer Prasanth Parameswaran holds the unwanted record for the most expensive over in IPL history, giving away 37 runs in a single over against Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in 2011.

Parameswaran had a tough time against RCB opener Chris Gayle, who was in an aggressive mood that day. In just one over, Gayle hit 6, 6 (no ball), 4, 4, 6, 6, 4, scoring an incredible 37 runs. Gayle finished the match unbeaten with 75 runs off only 35 balls, helping RCB reach a total of 205/6.
