#1. Suresh Raina (CSK) – The First to Score 99 Without Getting Out
uresh Raina, famously known as Mr. IPL, has been one of Chennai Super Kings’ (CSK) most consistent performers. As the third-highest run-scorer in IPL history, Raina has played many match-winning knocks.
During the 2013 IPL season, Raina became the first player to score exactly 99 runs without being dismissed. This happened in a game against Sunrisers Hyderabad at Uppal Stadium. CSK was struggling at 126/4 in 15 overs when Raina stepped up and unleashed an attacking innings. He smashed 99 off 52 balls*, hammering 11 fours and three sixes, propelling CSK to a massive 223/3.
