1. RCB – 263/5 vs Pune Warriors India

RCB’s 263/5 against Pune Warriors India on April 23, 2013 remains their highest IPL total and one of the most famous batting performances in the competition’s history.

2. RCB – 262/7 vs Sunrisers Hyderabad

RCB’s second-highest total came under completely different circumstances.

Sunrisers Hyderabad batted first at the Chinnaswamy Stadium in 2024 and produced 287/3, which was then the highest team total in IPL history.

RCB therefore needed to chase 288.

Virat Kohli and Faf du Plessis gave the innings a rapid start, but the chase became extremely difficult once wickets began falling. Dinesh Karthik then produced one of the best late-order innings of his IPL career.

Karthik smashed 83 from only 35 balls and kept RCB’s hopes alive deep into the innings. Bengaluru eventually finished on 262/7, losing by 25 runs.

Despite the defeat, 262/7 became the highest second-innings score in IPL history at the time and one of the highest totals ever made in a losing cause.

3. RCB – 254/5 vs Gujarat Titans

RCB added another extraordinary score during the closing stages of the 2026 league season.

Facing Gujarat Titans at Dharamsala, Bengaluru posted 254/5 from their 20 overs.

RCB lost Venkatesh Iyer early, but Virat Kohli and the middle order maintained the tempo. Krunal Pandya contributed 43 from 28 balls, while the batting lineup continued attacking throughout the innings.

RCB reached 189/4 after 16.1 overs and then added another 65 runs from the remaining deliveries to finish on 254/5.

Gujarat’s bowlers struggled throughout. Mohammed Siraj conceded 46 from three overs, Kagiso Rabada went for 54 despite taking two wickets, and Prasidh Krishna conceded 53 from four overs.

GT were then bowled out for 162 in 19.3 overs, giving RCB a huge 92-run victory. The result also helped Bengaluru secure top position heading into the playoffs.

The 254/5 became RCB’s third-highest IPL total and their highest score away from Bengaluru.

4. RCB – 250/3 vs Chennai Super Kings

Only weeks before the 254 against Gujarat, RCB had crossed 250 against Chennai Super Kings at the Chinnaswamy Stadium.

Virat Kohli made 28, Phil Salt scored 46 and Devdutt Padikkal contributed an important 50 from 29 balls.

The biggest acceleration came late in the innings.

Tim David smashed an unbeaten 70 from only 25 deliveries at a strike rate of 280, while captain Rajat Patidar finished unbeaten on 48 from 19 balls.

The pair added an unbeaten 99 and completely changed the final total.
